I have relatives in Cork County and Kerry County. I have never visited them but my parents went many times to stay and visit them. When my mother passed away we could not fimd her address book with the addresses in it so my sisters, Martha, Katie, Barbara, and I have been unable to get in touch with them.
I had a great Uncle I think by the name of Patty that died in the late 1970's or in the 1980's. They had a cottage on the coast and they fished in the summers. My parents stayed at their cottage some times. There were some relatives who would be now in their late fourties to early fifties who I wrote to a very few times. I am now 47. My mom's name was Jean and my father's name was
Gerald Francis Keohen. My father was an only child born to Charles and Mamie Keohen around the early 1920's.His father worked for the railroad in Oskalossa Iowa USA. My father was a doctor. We know that the last name was spelled wrong when my great grandfather went through emmigrations upon
landing in the USA.
I so want to connect up with my family members in Ireland and in the USA. Sorry for the lenfthy message but I felt that the information might be helpful.
