I have a John Baptista Graf (listed on the passenger list 10-01-1888 - he came over with his mother Theresia Graf & her kids) and his birthdate was 06-20-1885 to death date 05-02-1925. Sometimes the dates and times correspond, but it's, as they say, a crap shoot. Pardon my language. Did he marry a Barbara Rothenbach? I know this is the correct John and I'm hoping I'm right about his wife. If not, then please let me know, so I can correct it. There are days, I have to say, when the names are SO jumbled I don't know my own name, lol. So, John was my great great uncle? Anyway, Anna Graf was my great grandma. I love doing these researches, and it's awesome how many people I have found, and so many people I've talked to that I'm related to in some way, but it's sad too because I never met a lot of these folks. I would have loved to meet Anna Graf. My mom talked very highly of her. Sweet lady. Unfortunately, my mom's dad, Ernest, (Anna Graf's son,) died in 1923 in a Street Car accident, and my mom and siblings (cept for her older brother) were sent to an orphanage around 1926-27, so the family was scattered. I never got to meet any of my grandparents, and that's sad to me.
Thanks for the information.
