Our line begins with Archibald (whose middle name may have been Neil) marries Catherine Bell in Scotland. The have five children: John and Donald (twins) baptised in Colonsay August 1807, Neil baptised in July 1801 born in 1809 buried with wife Mary McNeil in PEI, Marion baptised Feb 1815 and Margaret Feb 1818.
John married Margaret Isabella Matheson in 1839 lived in Bonshaw. Donald may have moved to Uigg? , Neil married Mary McNeil, Margaret and Marion we still are researching.
Neil is our direct line. His children were: Archibald Frank Shaw, Neil, Kate, Malcom, John, Mary and Alexander...may have been a Donald who died young - still investigating!
these children married into McKinnons, (2 daughters marrying different Neil McKinnons, Charles Wesley Beer, Marg Pricilla Newsom, a Francine from New Brunswick and next generations married into Sarah MacDonald, Sarah McNevin, Mathesons, etc.

We invite all families interconnected to the Shaws from years past to drop by and share ANY pictures and information you may have on your family members and/or to help us fill in the blanks. Many Shaws have moved to the states, we invite you to attend as well - especially those in Mass, Calif, Rhode Island, NewHampshire and Boston areas
