Peter BRUHNHOLTZ/BRUNHOLS was in New Holstein, Calumet County in 1855, 1860 & 1870 with his wife Anna Margaretha and son Hartwig. Declaration of Intent filed in 1872. A Chilton history mentions Miss Brunhols/now Mrs ARPS in the drama group. His son married Johanna MEINERT at New Holstein in 1873. The census of 1880 shows Catherine Bruhnholtz, as mother, in the house of Claus THEISSEN, a butcher. Grandma born in 1894 said she had no grandparents, but they were related to the SCHRADERS, as she pronounced it. Could use any help with Peter & family, have family of Hartwig to share. Jean
