Interested in the above family names in Glengarry county.

Alex Rose married Jane McKenzie 1794 @ St Andrew's Church and had following children baptized at St Andrew's: John 1797, Marjory 1800(married Duncan Smith), Ann 1802, Mary 1804, Margaret 1806(married Kennth McPherson of Lancaster), Sybella/Isabella 1809(married Alex McDougall), Alex McKenzie 1812, Elizabeth(married Alex Urquart) and William (married Isabella McKay) twins 1815. William states that he was born in Quebec on various census'. the family resided con 1 lot 19 Charlottenburg.

Nearby on con 1 lot 8 and 11 were the descendants of Charles Rose and William Rose. Are they related? The names of Charles family were: Andrew, Amelia (wife), Charles, Alex, Ann, Jane, John, Margaret, William, Catherine.

On the 1851 census for con 1 lot 19 Jane Rose says that she was born in UC and her age puts her date of birth around 1777. Family stories say that she was the sister or cousin of Alex McKenzie?

Also I am interested in where local residences fought during the American Revolution? Vermont, NY, Quebec, Cornwall, Crysler Farm, Niagara?
