Winslow died in 1897 and Laura in 1894, He built a house on Winch Rd in the town of Busti;

1. dau CYNTHIA SHEARMAN married Clinton DAVIS, they had 1 son, Fred who was born in Tidioute PA, in 1880 they returned to the Town of Busti, and lived on the Winch Rd homestead, with Cynthia’s father On December 15th, 1894 Cynthia and her mother who was ill in bed, were brutally murdered at their Winch Rd home, Winslow SHEARMAN had gone to attend the funeral of Mr. and Mrs. MYRON SHEARMAN and Granddaughter, all of whom had been killed in the Erie Railroad crossing, just above Lakewood. The murderer was never discovered;
