I wonder if anyone can clear something up for me.
I am the 4th great-granddaughter of Moses Fisk ( 1759-1843)and Nancy Shultz. (supposedly) married 1813. This made him 54 when he married.
His son is Ormel married to Sarah F. L. Denton. Ormel's birth is 1820 in Hilham, Overton Co, TN. Which makes Moses 61 when Ormel was born. I know this is possible as my husbands father was 64 when he was born, but it just seems as I have missed a generation here or have the wrong Moses. Can anyone help me?
