First, I would like to say thank you to all the people in Philly who are so willing to help other researchers! You guys are great!!!

Was wondering if anyone has any theories as to why there seems to be no documentation for people that I know died in Phila.?

One was a gentleman in the Old Men's Home in West Phila. The other two men died in Phila., but I haven't been able to find any records. Two of the deaths took place around 1870.

On another topic, where would I find information on a lunacy hearing held in Phila. in 1883. I found out that lunacy hearings held between 1889 to 1913 are at the City Archives, but nothing on earlier records.
