In the 1880's my family lived (1880 census)on Queen Street, Falls of the Schuylkill, 28th ward. In the census, it shows two streets, Queen Street and Crawford Street, (these are set apart) and have no house numbers. By 1888, a death notice in the Manayunk Sentinel says my family lived at 163 Queen Street. I believe they lived right near the railroad. My question is, did they originally call Queen Lane, Oueen Street and if so, when was it changed? Have researched this and cannot find an answer. Thanks for your help.
