Surnames: Hill, Healy, Sharp
Looking for more information on my grandfather's family. my grandfather was one Henry Sharp HILL, born in Provo on November 21, 1885. He died in SLC on July 14, 1924 and is buried in Provo City Cemetery, Block 3, Lot 12. His parents were John James HILL, born August 6, 1852 in Doncaster, Yorkshire England and Susannah SHARP, born December 3, 1849 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England. The HILL Family came to the US as part of the Mormon Immigration in September 1881 on the S.S. Wyoming. I have been unable to find any information on Susannah SHARP's parents - they are always listed as William and Mary SHARP. Henry Sharp HILL married a Charlotte Martine WRIGHT (9/3/1894, Manti, Utah - 8/8/1975, Redwood City, CA) sometime before 1914; their first child, Alfred Clarence HILL was born in Utah (place unknown) on May 23, 1914. Their second child, a Lorene "Dottie" HILL was born February 3, 1918 (place unknown). The HILL twins, Doris and Dolores, were born in Ogden on May 23, 1921. Henry had siblings; James William, Joseph, Millicent Louisa (all born in Grantham); Rowland (born 1890) and Edith Hill HEALY. Susannah died in 1918 in Orem, John James in Orem in 1932. I have been unable to find Henry Sharp HILL in either the 1910 or 1920 US Census. Alas, I have no photographs of him - I know he had red hair (my mother, Doris HILL and her twin sister had auburn hair). Millicent Louisa apparently never married. Any information that can be passed on to fill in "gaps" is greatly appreciated.
