Interested in where to obtain information on the early pioneers of Fisher Settlement, Homer, Calhoun Co., MI. I understand there might be a book available at the local public library, but I live in So. California.

I'm looking for ELIAS and CLARISSA UNDERWOOD, parents of MARY A. UNDERWOOD. MARY, b. 1842 (MI) married JOHN MENCH, b. 1837 (PA) on 9/10/1865 at Christ Church, Homer, Michigan.

I'm also looking for ABRAHAM MENSCH (PA) and ELIZA VAN VLIET (PA), parents of JOHN MENSCH/MENCH. ABRAHAM is the son of CHRISTIAN and CATHERINE MENSCH.

I have been able to trace both families (UNDERWOOD & MENSCH) back to the 1700s, but cannot seem to find them once they got to FISHER SETTLEMENT.

I'd greatly appreciate ANY information, help or suggestions. Anxious to hear from you.
