PRESSLEY MASON COVINGTON b. 6/24/1869 NC parents Thomas Jefferson Covington & Susan Ann Thrower. Mother died (8/8/1871)when Pressley was 2 yrs. old shortly after giving birth to his brother, Matthew, who died a few months after his mother. His father married Mary Elizabeth Covington and that marriage gave Pressley 11 half-brothers/sisters (7 born in MS).

I'd like to know more about Pressley who apparently came to Shreveport to serve as a Bapt. pastor. He is my uncle.
