Looking for information about Thomas Austin born in Albemarle County, Virginia 1766-1780. Thomas is not believed to have married. It is known that he took his slave(s) with him to Clay County, Missouri in about 1830. I believe Thomas was the son of Henry and Sarah Harrison Austin (as they did have a son named Thomas born in that age range). However, I but don't have a corroborating link as no one has known what happened to Henry and Sarah's Thomas. If he is the same Thomas, then as Paul Harvey would say, "I know the rest of the story."
