Miss M’Millan Is Married At Home
Wedding to Mr. George Griswold Solemnized This Afternoon at Home of Bride
The marriage of Miss Alice McMillan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kennedy McMillan to Mr. George G. Griswold, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Griswold of Milwaukee, was celebrated this afternoon at the McMillan residence, the Rev. J. Ralph Magee reading the service.

The bride was very lovely in a gown of white filet lace over white satin. The girdle, of white satin, was caught at the side with a spray of orange blossoms and the skirt was full. The veil was of tulle edged with Princesse lace and bound at the head with a wreath of silver leaves. Her bouquet was of white bride’s roses and white sweet peas.

The maid of honor, Miss Elzey Skinner, wore a gown of orchid flat crepe, made with a tight bodice and full skirt. Her hat was of orchid tulle and her bouquet of orchid sweet peas and Ophelia roses.

The two bridesmaids, Miss Dorothy Griswold and Miss Jean McMillan, were gowned alike in pink taffeta made with tight bodices and full skirts, edged at the hem with a narrow band of tulle. They wore tulle hats to match their gowns and carried bouquets of pink roses and pink sweet peas.

Before the ceremony Mrs. T.C. Greer sang “At Dawning,” accompanied by Miss Henrietta Austerman on the violin and Miss Helen Eagleson at the piano. During the ceremony they played “Oh, Promise Me.”

Mrs. McMillan’s gown was of pale green flat crepe trimmed with crystal beads. She wore a corsage of orchid sweet peas and pink roses.

Mrs. Griswold wore beige georgette and lace over shell pink with a corsage bouquet of pink sweet peas and roses.

At the reception which followed the ceremony Mrs. Allan Latimer, Mrs. Archibald Talbot, Mrs. Buel B. Blake and Mrs. Wilfred Easterbrook poured. Assisting were the Misses Mary and Martha McMillan, sisters of the bride, Barbara and Helen Rummens and Laclaire Harrison.

After a wedding trip of six weeks Mr. and Mrs. Griswold will be at home in Seattle.
