Johann Wilhelm Eckenroth, 1707 or 1709-4/28/1757, any info further back?

Classification: Query
Surnames: Eckenroth,Eckenrode, Margaretha
I have gotten back to Johann Wilhelm Eckenroth and his wife Anna Margaretha (not sure if that's a middle or last name) in my tree, and just wondered if anyone had further information.

I have eitehr 1707 in rhienland-Pfalz or 1709 in BadKreuznach as his birthdate - in surfing here it appears the latter is a villege/town in Rhineland-Pfalz, so that makes sense that it's the same person, and my great-grandfather borh almost 200 years later didn't know if he was born in 1894 or '95, so that's understandable.

I have traced back to their son Christopher (Stofel), born 1742 in Germany (name changed to Eckenrode by the time their daughter in my tree, Elizabeth, is born), and it appears they arrived on the Snw Charlotte or somethings imilar. However, I don't find anything further back than this.

So, if anyone has such info, please let me know. It seems like a lot of people stop here, though, which is understandable - it's amazing to come out of the more painstaking looking to find you're seeing over 300 years in the past, especailly for the part-timers like me.
