I am descended from Arthur Butler (1765-1850)from Gates County, NC. He married Susannah Blanshard in 1788.
Luke, Timothy, Delpha, Rebecca, and Gilmore (my
gg-grandfather) are listed as his children, but due to the age differences between the children and Arthur, I think they are probably grandchildren. I have been unable to find anything on Arthur's roots. I would appreciate any information you have on this family.
