My greatgrandfather was Albert Fairhurst, born in Philadelphia in 1889. His mother was Mary Simms[daughter of Richard] also of Philadelphia, born in 1866. What I need to know is Who was his father?? The family[Mary Simms, Albert and a sister Mary] are listed as living with Richard Simms in 1900. Mary Simms is listed as married and being married 9 years. Can someone either look up a marriage certificate or tell me who Alberts father was???There are other Fairhursts living in that area around that time but none match up to dates for being Married, or are shwon as married to someone else. The previuos census would have been 1890 but there isn't one and the 1880 is too early.
