I plan to visit Fairfield but have never been there before.

Can anyone tell me where to find the old vital records of "Fairfield Town?"
Is it the County's Surrogate's office, or a genealogical society, or historical library?

My family may have come from that area and I read that it's the only place in CT that doesn't share its records with the State Library at Hartford.
