This is the same reason that you shouldn't post vital data on the living. And the same courtesy needs to extend to the recently dead as well. Copies of obits from papers from recent decades are not that hard to obtain. I've done it several times and for nominal fees if someone isn't available to do a look-up for free. We need to save the families of the recently departed from these kinds of headaches.
