Hi from the Sunny South,

Tim recommended that we identify ourselves and indicate the names we are researching, so here goes.

I am Terre Mingus, a SF Bay Area native Californian, with wandering tendencies, having served proudly in the US Army for 13 years in the Southern US and Germany. Spent 20 incredible years in Colorado, and now reside in the metro Atlanta, GA area.

My Swiss and German ancestors immigrated to Adams and Wells Co., IN in the mid-1800s...their names were Burghalter, Gilgen, Schaffter, and Schneider.

In addition, many of my Quaker ancestors migrated west from points east to Wayne Co. and Randolph Co., IN...their names include Beals, Coffin, Hiatt, Macy, Mendenhall, Mills Starbuck, Sumner, etc.
