OMG! Is my branch really connected to the Mayflower??

I was searching back through my genealogy and found a story attached to JOSHUA RIPLEY b. 9 Nov 1658, m. HANNAH BRADFORD b. 9 May 1662. Didn't think much of it, just names to review later, right? It didn't have HER genealogy attached. Well, after a few days, I finally looked at this story. It says she is the granddaughter of one WILLIAM BRADFORD, leader of the Pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower. WHAT?!?! I have checked and re-checked that Ripley line and it seems right. The person I started following back was SARAH CELESTE NANCY RIPLEY b. 1740. Her grandfather was Hezekiah Ripley -- hard to ignore THAT name! From him, I end up with Joshua Ripley and Hannah Bradford...(Sarah married Luc Faulk, had daughter Nancy Falk, who married Thomas William/William Thomas "Manchac" Perry, who I KNOW is my 3rd Great Gandfather.) SO. IS THIS RINGING TRUE WITH ANYONE ELSE???
