I don't know for sure where she was born, but she died January 15, 1939 in Wishaw, Craigneuk, Scotland. Her parents names were James McGimpsey and Annie Thom. James McGimpsey was the son of James McGimpsey and Mary Ward. Mary McGimpsey had at least one son (Daniel) with someone by the name of John Hans. Daniel gave this name for his father. Then Mary married John Hamilton b. abt. 1883, on June 3, 1905, in Glasgow, Scotland, and had a bunch more children. Some of their names are: John, Dempster, b. 12-19-1914, Willie, Davis, Annie Nellie Margaret. Annie may have married someone with the last name of "Ingram" and Margaret may have married someone by the name of "Greer" who died before my grandfather came to America in 1929.
