I was at the Adams county court house this past summer and will be going again this summer. The records are in danger of being destroyed. The room where the marriage records were kept had a major leak from the AC units pipe systems. Also many years were just missing. What a frustrating experience! Is anyone working any kind of preservation project within the county? Please respond to this posting.
