Please can anyone tell me whether a person by the name of Clifton Peter Scott-Riddle was resident in Australia from 1939 onwards. This man bigamously married my Grandmother in Birmingham, UK in March 1939 and shortly afterwards disappeared perhaps back to Australia. Later in 1939 my Father was born and this man would be my Grandfather.On the marriage cert he states that his father was George Padman Scott-Riddle and was a Member of Parliament. Please can anyone help, I would be so grateful.
