I'm trying to find any information on the Bates family who lived in Waterford in the 1800's. My g-g-grandmother was Rebecca Bates and she was born 1831. I have been trying to locate her parents or a place where I can look at old records. There is a Bates Mill Road and Bates Cemetery in this area.
