Aiken (Aiken County)-- Mrs. Helen M. Curtis, 82, of 1032-B Carriage Avenue died wednesday, July 26 1995, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. The funeral will be at 3 pm Sunday at St. John's United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ken Nelson and dr. George S. Duffie Jr. officiating. Mrs. Curtis, a native of Altoona, PA was a retail clerk, a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Katie Williams Sunday School Class and Circle No. 14. Survivors include a daughter, Amanda J. Thompson, Aiken; a brother Elwood McCauley, Altoona; two sisters Elinor Burns and eileen Benton both of Altoona' and two grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Katie williams Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 104 Newberry St. NW Aiken 29801. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm today at George Funeral Home Southside aiken.
