I keep hitting a dead end trying to do more research on my great great great grandfather. My grandfather is Richard Lawrence Myers son of Roy Myers and Ora Arlene Elliot. Roys father was Jacob Abraham Myers, and his mother was Sarah Ann Talbert. I have found a few sources that mention Jacobs father as William F Myers born about 1834 in Ohio married to an Ellen R Freeman born about 1836. But cannot find any further documentation to prove that. Does anyone have confirmation if William F Myers is the correct name of Jacobs father, and if so who William F Myers parents were or anything about them? I keep hitting a dead end with William and Ellen and have not been able to find a single document about them, so I am wondering if the info I have just isn't correct to begin with. I am new to geneology. Any tips would be helpful.
