I am researching the Doodys of Fermoy, Ireland, Montreal, California, Fall River, Mass, Nebraska, South Dakota.

The first John Doody left Cork, Ireland, June 1825 and settled in Montreal, Quebec. John was born in abt. 1797, married Eliza Power, in Ireland.

One of John and Eliza's son, is, Denis Doody, b.Montreal, m. Eliza O'Neil, Montreal, One of Denis and Eliza's sons, Michael C. Doody, born abt. 1854, Montreal, moved to Marin Co. California about. 1875 and married Catherine Blaney, I think, in Marin Co. CA.
