This is what I know
Michael Fitzpatrick (Horse trade and wine tester)and Mary Walsh from Cartron baptised a son William on January 23, 1861 in the Parish of Kilcolman. Claremorris, Mayo, Ireland. There were 10 children in the family. Some names included: Michael, Winnifred, Anne who married John O'Brien and lived in New York; Mary who married a McGarth; and Martin who died in Iowa about 1884: The others I do not know there names.
William came over to New York in about 1881 and worked with John O'Brien as a milk truck driver. He took a train to Churden Iowa and as he got off the train he asked a few men where he might find Martin Fitzpatrick. They said they were just going to dig his grave. I have found no evedience of Martin in Iowa. William stayed here and rented a farm and also a grociery store. He met and married Ellan Reagan. Her parents were Patrick Reagan and Honora Fitzpatrick. They had two children here before migrating to Canada in 1903.
I stem from this line.
