I have an 1870-1874 land survey/sale for E H Williams. The Texas land is in "Rains County on the waters of Lake Fork of the Sabine River about 1 3/4 miles north and 25 degrees west from the town of Emory. It is bounded by: a stake in the NW corner of the E. Richmond (Ridmond?) Survey and in the East line of Mercer's Colony from which...." then there are abbreviations I don't understand.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a current map where this property might be located?
