I am researching the Hoffman family that lived in Jenner Twp., Somerset Co., Pennsylvania. The head of this family was Jacob Hoffman who married Christena Beam. Jacob was born c1761. The family attended (and helped found) the Hoffman Zion Lutheran Church in Jenner Township. Many descendants are buried there. I am descended from Jacob's daugher, Mary Hoffman, who married Henry A. Brown.
