My great-grandmother's son, William G Riste, emigrated to Saskatchewan in 1902 and began life as a farmer. On 6 August 1909 GGmother came to came to Canada, aboard the Tunisian, with two of her daughters (Agnes and Kathleen)to work as a housekeeper for him. Apparently, she found the life too harsh and supposedly returned to England in November 1909. I can find a copy of the passenger list out to Canada but I cannot find a list for their return. I believe William fought in the Canadian Army in WWI any details of what happened to him would be appreciated.
