Judy, you are really filling a need for help in Bermuda research. I have proven that Thomas DURHAM who married Dorothy?, d. in Richmond Co., VA, in 1715 is NOT the son of Gov. Henry DURHAM of Bermuda and his wife Judith HUNT. Still trying to prove who this Thomas' parents really are. Gov. Henry DURHAM was the son of a Thomas DURHAM, original emigrant to Bermuda, who also had other sons Thomas, Moses, Joseph, and one unnamed. Gov. Henry did have a son Thomas, married to Elizabeth, whose will was probated both in Bermuda and Beaufort, NC in 1713 and 1714. My question is, do Bermuda records contain any information on brothers of Gov. Henry, born in the 1630's +-, whose names are given above, Moses, Joseph, Thomas? Could one of them possibly be the father of the Thomas DURHAM who is in Richmond Co. VA in 1683 when he marries Dorothy? Or could Henry's brother Thomas be that man? His birth date has been shown as 1661, but that may not be right, because it is based on the birth date of Gov. Henry's son Thomas, who he is NOT.
