HI,
I have been trying to get medical records of my grandmother, whom I have never known. I know that she and my grandfather were from Jackson county. My grandfather died in 1935, but, she spent most of her life in the state hospital in Little Rock, AR.She has been dead since 1963, according to Social Security records, and I didn't even know I had a grandparent living, at that time. How can I be a representative or executrix, (which they require) in order to get her records?I can't even get a copy of her obituary. I don't know the exact date she died.
I have tried to find out which cemetery she was buried in. They will not give me any information at all. Does someone out there have any suggestions? I need her information for documented proof for my Family Tree research.
