We in Houston are working hard to help the evacuees. Our unusued Astrodome is now temporary home to approximately 15,000 [?]. Several thousand are in the George R. Brown Convention center. Reliant Stadium & it's complex on the grounds of the Astrodome [now called Reliant Dome] have countless more seeking shelter. Surrounding areas have shelters also. From what I understand from TV news the Reliant Dome/old Dome Stadium/Astrodome is the "main sign-in"/Red Cross processing shelter. Houston has a big heart & will do it's best in this tragic situation.
