Need information on John Maharg, born in County Down Ireland in 1768 came to Pennsylvania Township where he owned 265 acres of land. He was the first postmaster of the village, Maharg, PA. in Butler Co. Turnpike. Married to Ann Brown of Brownsdale, PA., Died Dec. 4, 1871 at the age of 103. buried in Middlesex Presbyterian Churchyard, Rt. 8, Butler, Co.
