Looking for any information about George Clement Robert Simpson, who was born in Bangalore India in 1883. His father's name was Robert Simpson who was a coffee planter in India (originally from Bristol, England). His father, Robert Simpson, married an Indian woman called Josephine. No other details about him are known.
George Simpson, married Ann Labeyrie in May 1902 who was born 1886. Her father's name was Lewis Labeyrie also recorded as Libirie and variations therefore.)
He sired two daughters (1) Gertrude Constance born 1904 and Ethel Mary born 1906-7. All were born in or around Bangalore, in South India.
George Simpson joined the Anglo-Indian Forces and left India before WW1 and never returned to India. He fought in WW1; details of his military history unknown. Apparently he was in Bristol England in the mid 1920's and was last heard of by his wife and children in 1925. I am his great-grand daughter, who is doing the family research and hoping to find out anything about his life after he left India. When did he die? Did he start a new family in England and are there any other living relatives of his in England?
