Searching for any information on family of Thomas C. Martin b.ca. 1814, m.Hannah Matilda Cole b.ca. 1830. The following children were listed in the 1860 Hall County census: Hannah, Jesse C., Betty, Eli, Nancy, G. A. Jesse C. Martin, Hannah, children Rachael and Mary, and brother Eli are listed in the 1880 Hall County census. Jesse C. Martin is buried in the Flowery Branch Cemetery.

According to Sybil McRay's June 13, 1978 "History and Herigage" article, Thomas C. Martin was the son of Absalom Martin (b. 1772 in SC) and his known siblings are believed to be Jacob, Samuel, Stephen, James, Elijah, Moses, Polly (married Eli Tanner) and Elizabeth (married John S. Porter).
