It has been so long since I posted my original query,I am going to re-post it, a bit differently, hoping to find descendants of the following couples of New Jersey and Virginia to help me solve the Palmer line:
John Palmer, Jr. md. Elizabeth Everitt; John was of Virginia and Elizabeth was of Hunterdon, New Jersey.
They had: Samuel, John, Abel, David and Priscilla, born from about 1756 – 1762 and they lived in Loudoun County Virginia, according to land deed 1762 and John’s probate 1774. I have been told that son Samuel married Elizabeth Heskett.
Sarah Palmer md. Abel Everitt and had: Sarah, Martha, Abel, Jr. ( children born 1762 – 1757/8 in Hunterdon County, NJ. - Land Deeds and bible records.) I am not sure where Sarah was born 12 Nov. 1725; supposedly after husband Abel Everitt died in 1760, she re married to a Mr. Furman and died 27 Dec 1808 (bible records which always leave out locations). My line of Palmer/Everitt is through daughter Sarah Everitt who md. Christopher Bern Johnston/Johnston. They did not live in Virginia, but stayed in New Jersey.
In research I have previously done but with no proof , it is possible that John Palmer and sister Sarah Palmer were children of a John and Catherine (---) Palmer, from bits and pieces of information I have found from various sources on and off internet and because it seems this was the only or most prominent Palmer family in Loudoun County connected to tobacco .
