I am seeking information on a Humphrey Bell who is listed on the censuses for Georges Twp., Fayette Co., PA in 1789 & 1790. Apparently, sometime after 1790 he moved on to Kentucky because on the 1800 census he is listed in Mason Co., KY and then on the 1810 census he is listed in Lewis Co., (created out of Mason Co., KY in 1806), KY. I believe that in Mason County he had 100 acres near the waters of Cabin Creek. He may have had a daughter named Elizabeth (b. abt 1793 in PA and died after 1860 in Lewis Co., KY) who married on 7/15/1815 (a Humphrey Bell signed as security on the certificate) in Lewis Co., KY to a Benjamin Cole, Jr. (b. abt. 1783 in PA, d. 1860-1870 in Lewis Co., KY). I believe that this Benjamin Cole had a father named Benjamin Cole, Sr. This Benjamin Cole, Sr. is also listed on the same censuses for 1789 & 1790 as Humphrey. He is also listed as living in Lewis Co., KY after 1800. I am speculating that the families moved together to Kentucky and that Humphrey Bell and Benjamin Cole, Sr.'s children married each other once they had moved to Kentucky.

Any information on this Humphrey Bell (i.e., parents, wife, children, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.
