I am trying to trace info re my 2xgreat grandfather, Thomas Dykes, who was born St. Luke's Parish, London approx. 1796/1797 and came to Australia (maybe Tasmania) approx. 1818 apparently as a convict.

He married Ellen Reardon (Raardon) - from the Isle of Wight, UK in 1842 (also apparently a convict), then lived and died (1892 - aged 86) at Jones Island, Manning River, NSW.

From Thomas' death certificate, his parents were Samuel Dykes (carpenter) and Ann Williams.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
