James Batten "from Brightwell" married Jane French in Ewelme, Oxfordshire in 1699. I am trying to confirm that I have traced James's ancestors. I would also like to find Jane's ancestors.

I believe James was the son of John Batten (1640) of Brightwell and Frances Collins (1648), and that

John was the son of Thomas Batten (1599) of Brightwell and Anne "West" (1604), and that

Thomas was the son of John Batten (abt 1570, "of Mackney") and Margaret (unknown).
