Wanted to let everyone know that I have been adding the diaries of my grandfather who lived on Rose Lake. The diaries I have start in 1881 and go on for years, I have just finished adding all up to 1885 to the internet for all to see. he talks about many different families as many people stayed with him when they moved to the area, and lived their until their homes were built. every month it seems as if he talks about someone new. He also writes about deaths in the area, and every day he reports on the weather and farming. The most current is the death of a woman named Ann Murry, building a house for a man named Chauncy (he also writes the name as Chancy) and Charlie bowdry's daughter who had fallen ill.
