Ollie Bryant Miller, age 86, of Elkatawa, KY departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 20, 2001 at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center in Jackson, KY of an extended illness. Born July 3, 1915 in Breathitt County, she was the daughter of the late Marcus and Louraina Watkins Bryant. She was a homemaker and a life-long member of the Little Cane Creek Baptist Church. Her beloved husband Rev. Clell Miller preceded her death.
She is survived by three daughters: Louise Miller of Jackson, KY., Lee Gabbard of Milford, OH, and Jessie Prater and husband Seldon of Jackson, KY.; two sons: Shelby Miller and wife Lois of Cincinnati, OH, Rev. Clell Miller, Jr. and wife Ruth of Hazard, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. Special friends: Major and Mary Edith Hall of Jackson, Ky.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at 12 noon at the Little Cane Creek Baptist Church at Elkatawa with Revs. Bill Combs and Adam Feltner officiating. Burial followed in the Jackson Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
