Looking for info and family sites to visit on our trip to Scotland in May.Wm.Eckford(born Nov.24,1772) married Jean Mathison(daughter of Andrew Mathison) in Peebles in 1758.One of his sons was also Wm.and he married Jean Patterson ( daughter of James Paterson and Jean Thorburn)in 1804 in Edinburgh.I have much of the later info but would like to contact any Eckfords still in the Peebles area.Please e-mail me at mjmalek@hotmail.com Thanks ,Mary jane from Michigan
