I have seen numerous family trees showing Christopher Paul Withrow as a son of Thomas Wodrow, son of Robert (b.1600). These trees also indicate Christopher Paul as the father of Robert Withrow (b.1692)who married Jennet and was the immigrant ancestor to many American Withrows. However, I have not seen any evidence to support this. All the trees seem to point to one another as their proof. Does anyone know where this thing about Christopher Paul began? Is there ANY evidence to support it? I would love to find some, to be able to finally connect my branch back to Scotland.... But only if it is true.
