Hi, I'm having a dreadful time trying to trace any of my family. I don't seem to be able to get any results at all for my Father's side, records for coalville and Ibstock are terrible. Any information anyone can give me would be wonderful please.

My Father was Roy Grenville Barnes, Born 1945, died in 2004. His Father was Alwyn Barnes of Coalville, I think, married to Beatrice Maud Brown 1921 birth of Ibstock. I know that they lived in Coalville but no idea where or for how long. On the Barnes side of my family that is my only knowledge and sadly have no one to ask. I know no dates other than the ones given, that is literally all I know with no way of finding out more. Any help at all would be wonderful please.
