I am looking for information about my
gg grandfather. But I don't have much
information.
I only know he was Union, was (according to
family) captured and sent to Andersonville.
Survived to get released in 1865 but died in
Cincinnati, Ohio while on his way home to East
Liverpool, Ohio.
Is there a CW Cemetery in Cincinnati that he
could have been buried? Is there other prison
camps besides Andersonville?
His wife Mary died shortly after that, his two
children were raised by his mother in law Margaret
Sebring in East Liverpool, Ohio. Is there any way
I can find out who claimed his pension? The children
were son, Elmer Baker and daughter Margaret Baker.
Thanks,
Kathy Kott
