In "Volume II, History and Families of Wright County, MO" is a story on Calvin C. Edmonds. The story says that by 1880 the family was in Wright County.

The 1890 census burned in Washington, D.C., but there was a special census of Wright County Civil War widows and veterans who were collecting pensions. Calvin C. is listed there.

The 1900 Wright County census shows Calvin and wife and two children still at home.

Calvin C. Edmonds paid personal property taxes in Pleasant Valley Township in 1892.

Calvin C. must have died between the time the census was taken in 1900 and the time it was taken in 1910, because in 1910 his widow is living with daughter Susan Inman in Elk Creek Township.

So this is a synopsis along with documentation-census records for the most part-of what I know about C.C. Edmonds. His name has been found spelled Edmens, Edmons, Emens, and Edmonds. Many of his wife's and daughter's family members are buried in Cold Water Cemetery. This is one of 5 or 6 cemeteries in close proximity to where Calvin Edmonds was living in 1900 and the Inman/Edmonds family in 1910. So, there is a possibility there, however, a final resting place has yet to be found for him.

His known children were Susannah, Alexander, Lydia, Ruthia, Vicy, and Johnathon also known as John Eli. I believe there was another son.

Susannah, also known as Susan, married Frank INMAN in Wright County, Missouri. They had children Luvena Inman b.August 18, 1884, Melvina Inman b.October 20, 1885, Leonard Lynn Inman b.February 05, 1889, Alonzo M. Inman b.October 29, 1891, Cordia C. Inman b. January 1895, Bennie O. H. Inman b.December 1896, George A. Inman b.June 1898

Vicy married Robert L. GREGORY in 1888 in Wright County, Missouri. They had children Ava, Elsa, Dessie, Opal, Nola, Jack, Theodore, and Alva.

Johnathon also known as John Eli Edmonds married Lina Viola Woolard in Hartville, Missouri. They had children Mary, Maude, Marion, Gilbert, Eliga, Elisha, Edith, Charles Calvin ,Oliver, Mary, and Patrick.

I have more information if needed.
