I am looking for my great-grandfather HEROLD, his first name is unknown,however he was married to Mary E. BUEKEL born 1810 died 1894 in Fort Madison,Iowa U.S. . He never came to the states and is buried in Alsace-Lorraine. His children were George ,Christopher,Michael(Michel) (twins) , Godfrey (Gotfried) and Mary.Mary married a Mr. HUNDT in Germany and had a son Henry. She also married a Mr. DOERING.We have located a family birth record from a church record book of Saint Dringenberg, Minden County,Probing Westfalen, Konigreich Preusen,state.Any information on my great-grandfather Herold and family will be greatly appreciated.
